Uni-Blinds "between the glass" blinds might be the most notable option when it comes to decorating your windows and doors to provide you the privacy and shade you require. Uni-Blinds can be fitted in UPVc Windows, Aluminium Windows, Bifold Doors and French Doors & Sliding Patio Doors
For those who are unfamiliar with these kind of blinds, the idea is quite ingenious. The blinds are encased in double-glazed components that are installed into window and door frames made of PVC-U and aluminium. Uni-Blinds are the top brand in the UK.

BLIND STYLE OPTIONS
Our integral blinds come in two style options:
Venetian Blinds
Venetian blind slats are made to be as narrow as possible so that they can slide between the glass panes of the most popular double-glazed units, which are typically 20mm, 22mm, or 27mm in width. However, a slim form of Venetian blinds is also available that can be installed into a 16mm cavity, which is common in many older windows and doors that were put in before the current, much higher thermal regulations were established.
Pleated Blinds
Another integrated blind option is the pleated blind which some people prefer to the venetian. The fabric is designed to fold neatly and is available in a range of high quality fabrics and colours. There is also a pleated blackout integral blind with the Uni-Blinds range which is ideal for children's rooms or where light pollution at night is an issue. The blinds have been tested to withstand years of repeated raising and lowering.

All of the integral blind units we supply come with toughened glazing as standard. Unlike many competitors, who provide standard double glazed units.
Venetian blinds have horizontal slats which can be pivoted to control the amount of light that passes through it. They can also be raised fully to reveal the glass window.
Pleated blinds have a single-layer of material or fabric with no air pockets and multiple slats to allow sunlight to enter the room. There is also a blackout option available to provide complete darkness where necessary.
There is a five year guarantee with the blinds but if they are maintained properly you can expect them to last up to 10 years.
Cordless blinds have a magnetic slider mechanism placed on the outer surface of the blind, and on the inside and around the blinds, aluminium chords are placed, allowing the slider to raise and lower blinds as needed.
The blinds are agreed at the point of survey and ordered along with your bifolds, sliding doors, french doors or windows. Carrying out the survey also means we will manufacture all the integral blinds to the exact size needed.
