WINDOW INTEGRAL BLINDS
Uni-Blinds "between the glass" blinds might be the most notable option when it comes to decorating your windows to provide you the privacy and shade you require. Uni-Blinds can be fitted in all types of UPVc windows including Casement Windows, Flush Casement Windows, Sliding Sash Windows
For those who are unfamiliar with these kind of blinds, the idea is quite ingenious. The blinds are encased in double-glazed components that are installed into the UPVc window frames. Uni-Blinds are the top brand in the UK.
Because it is sealed inside the glass, the only object installed on the glass or frame is the blind control mechanism, which comes in a variety of forms, such as a slider or a cord/winder and come in a range of colours.

The best choice for your property will depend on its style and your chosen aesthetic. The exact time depends on the number and style of windows. But as a general rule, a whole house (typically 8-10 windows) should be fitted in 1-2 days. We will know more when we carry out a full survey before the new windows arrive and will therefore know the extent of work required. Carrying out the survey also means we will manufacture all the replacement windows to the exact size needed to replace the old frames – again minimising time on site.
We would expect to take out your old door and replace it with the new one in the same day. We would clarify this on our initial survey to ensure there are no other factors that would take this over a single day visit.
If the bifold doors are replacing old french doors or sliding doors in the same size opening, we would expect to be able to do this in a single day. Our intital survey will clarify the work involved and you will be given an accurate timescale based on this survey.
We take care of removing your windows and doors and will take these to recycling facitilites where possible or dispose of them ethically.
Yes, you will need to remove these and any other items to allow the installer clear access to the windows.
Very secure. All opening windows have locking handles as standard and all our windows are internally beaded. This means the trims that hold the glass in place are on the inside of the window, so they can’t be easily removed from the outside, which would allow the glass to be taken out easily, giving fast access into a property. All our doors come with either Yale or Ultion Locks and provide guarantees against break-in attacks to your property.
Many of our products are Secured by Design (SBD) accredited. SBD is an official UK Police initiative supporting the principles of 'designing out crime.' This accreditation means we are authorised to supply windows and doors with an optional Secured by Design endorsed upgrade that includes extra security. Planning permission is not normally required for repairing, fitting or replacing doors and windows, unless you own a listed building. If you live in a conservation area (or other designated area) you should consult with your local planning authority.
All of the windows we supply are BFRC (British Fenestration Ratings Council) A-rated as standard. This is the highest rating double-glazed windows can achieve. Anything higher (such as A++ ratings) requires triple-glazing, which is much more expensive than double-glazing.
All of the windows we supply come with toughened glazing as standard to all glass units. Unlike many competitors, who provide standard double glazed units.
